Train The Trainer (T3) Ensures Agency-Focused Capability
Our model curriculum is designed to be delivered at your training centers and academies, and to produce top-notch internal trainers and materials specific to your mission. UASA's curriculum covers all three modes: Land.Air.Sea - producing great "pilots" through our decades of experience with Crew Resource Management. In our world, "Pilots" are all aircrew required for mission effectiveness, and therefore have a broad background required to move the vehicle effectively or operate the on-board systems such as sensors and external payloads. It's a team sport that requires training and practice to remain proficient and safe.
Most agencies are working to develop in-house or local training capability in partnership with larger agencies. UASA gives you a solid program to build upon for your mission. UASA constantly improves it's curriculum to ensure you have current tactics, techniques, and procedures. If your agency wants to team with others in your area, contact UASA. We have instructors and courses in CA/TX/FL/GA/VA/MD/DE/PA/NJ/NY with more in training in other states.
The model has been validated and used for the past 8 years - with great results. Whether you start with Air Operations (LASR-Air) as most do, or you advance your ground robotics/sensors (LASR-Land), each course sequence in the certificate is based on UASA providing your participants with engaging, challenging, and well-thought-out scenario-based training.
UASA's LASR Strike Team Certification Roadmap provides a team of up to eight (8) LASR Leaders with the full capability to operate right away and to support agency advancement through the development of new pilots. Typical agencies will start with a 2-course sequence. With the help of UASA, and guided by the in-situ requirements and credentials needed to operate, the roadmap is adjusted to provide the training needed, with up to 9 additional 2-day courses. The roadmap below IN BOLD shows the MINIMUM course footprint for "Wildfire Flight Operations" under the DOI credential. (3) 2-day courses; (1) 4-day course; ICS series online.

Since 2006 we have trained more than 7100 participants using our industry-changing MOST program all documented using the industry standard for After Action Review MOBAARS toolbox.
There is no lower implementation risk than UAS Academy for agencies ranging from the Department of Defense, State Police, Fire Fighting Teams, HRT Teams, USAR Medics, and Emergency Managers to use LASR in armed intervention, logistics, EMS/TCCC, fire service and technical rescue, and emergency management.
